An Editor in Demand.

London, 10.-Mr. Greenwood, forty-eight hours after his retirement from the Pall Mall Gazette, received offers exceeding $500,000 to establish a new journal. Politicians, horse guardsmen, financiers, judges and others in high social positions were among the subscribers. The arrangements are nearly completed, and the paper will probably appear within a few days. The name is still uncertain, but the form typographically and the general features will be similar to those of the Gazette, with some improvements.
