National recognition for distinguished service to the homemakers of North Dakota has been extended to Grace DeLong, state home demonstration leader of the N.D.A.C. extension service.

Miss DeLong was among several members of the college honored at special exercises Dec. 15. She was given a certificate of recognition from Epsilon Sigma Phi, national honorary extension service fraternity, a certificate limited to 15 or less extension workers throughout the United States annually. Miss DeLong is the first member of the North Dakota extension service to receive this award.
