The Darby Grange met in regular session Tuesday evening August 9. The Master, Glenn Straley, took charge of a lengthy business meeting. Plans were made for the Grange display at the Madison County Fair.
Committees appointed to have charge of the display are: Ellen Traftzer, chairman of the committee on decorating the booth, also the Grange theme and teaching, and the labeling of products. Her helpers are Viola Murray and Mildred Ries.
Martha Gaver is chairman of Home Economics, with Della Daniels and Jennie Roberts as assistants.
Margaret Calloway, chairman of fruit and vegetables, has helpers Hazel Simpson, Shirley Hart, Carrie Kent and Helen Schelhaus.
Mrs. Olga Wilson has charge of canned fruit.
Members in charge of grain and other farm products are: John Daniels, Fred Simpson, Levi Kent, Albert Engle, Paul Calloway, Alfred Burrell, Oscar Roberts, and Cecil Gaver.
Glenn Straley, Master is head chairman over all committees.
