Full Text

The fact that the four dry Senators from Cape May, Cumberland County, Salem and Gloucester joined with the wet Senators of Essex, Bergen and Passaic Counties as tools of U. S. Senator Walter E. Edge, does not set well in the stomach of those who conscientiously voted for these men to uphold the dry cause all along the line. Senator Edge is politically rotten and comes from that politically rotten city of Atlantic which needs a Klan purification. To uphold Edge with his rum-running machine is to give him prestige for his re-election next year. Some feel that they have been sold out.
