We scarcely turn over the pages of the
Eastern papers without meeting with intelligence like the following, which we extract from the New York Evening Post

HAYTI
The emigration to Hayti continues—
Yesterday morning the brig Robert Brads sailed for Aux Cayes, with a full complement of colored persons, who, before the put to sea, appointed a number of officers to preserve order during the voyage.
Indeed the residence of Mr. Granville in New York so long beyond his own expectations, furnishes abundant proof of the increasing popularity of Haytian emigration. The question has been agitated amongst our Southern neighbors with equal interest, and with the blessing of Heaven we may expect that a subject which has excited attention in monarchical Europe and Republican America will be disposed of so far as this country is concerned in a manner satisfactory to all parties.
