Carbery to Talk At Encampment

Spartanburg, Aug 11.--James L. Carbery, agronomist of Clemson College, whose headquarters are in the city at the Chamber of Commerce, will be one of the chief speakers at the annual encampment of the Pickens county club boys and girls to be held at Table Rock cove Wednesday Thursday and Friday of this week.

T. A. Bowen, Pickens county agent who has organized more than 1,000 boys and girls into club work, will be in charge of the encampment. Many leading agriculturalists will participate in the program.

Mr. Carbery also assisted W. D. Wood, county agent of Union, in putting on a three-day short course for corn club boys at the Union court house last week.
