THE POSTAGE CURRENCY AND TREASURY NOTES.

Gov. Spinner will try to send a first installment of the postage currency and of the Treasury Notes of the denominations of one and two dollars to the Assistant Treasurer of New-York to-morrow, to Philadelphia on Tuesday, to Boston on Wednesday, for use in their offices.

Yesterday, $15,000 worth of the postage currency, including, however, no five-cent bills, and $8,000 in Treasury Notes, half ones and half twos, were received at the Treasury Department, and immediately absorbed by the crowd, who rushed in as soon as the doors were opened. In the confusion of people struggling to get to the counter, one man had his pocket picked of $50.
