The Community Church held its Christmas services in the Auditorium at 4 P.M. Sunday, Dec. 25th.
The program consisting entirely of music was enhanced by the late afternoon twilight and the candle-lit altar.
The program opened with an organ recital played by the guest organist, Mr. J. Edgar Robinson on an electric organ.
Then followed the Church Choir's presentation of the "New Born King", a cantata by Benjamin Loveland.
Under the direction of Lydalu Palmer, the choir handled this music commendably.
Outstanding among the soloists were Mrs. Lester Hayes, contralto, Mr. Byron Roshon, bass, and Mr. Robert L. Kincheloe, tenor. Special mention should be given the pianist, Mrs. J. E. Sheets.
