From Bristol, That a Parcel of bad Rogues infest that City and Parts adjacent, as villainous as any of the Traders about Westminster; a Peruke Maker, of a great Family in Wales, was not only robb'd of a Sum of Money on Durdham Down, but cut, beat, and maimed in a dangerous Manner. -- A Surgeon also was decoy'd into a Wood on Pretence of a Man's breaking his Leg, where he was robb'd of a considerable Sum; they stamp'd on his Breast and Belly, in order to dispatch him, but coming to himself he crept to a House, where he got Relief, and is now under the Surgeon's Hands, in hopes of a Recovery.
