The Town Council met on last Saturday evening. Mr. Geo. Adair was appointed Street Commissioner.

A committee, consisting of Messrs. Henderson and O'Brien, was appointed to have the Engine Lot enclosed by a fence and to have the same used for the retention of stray animals, such as cows, hogs, geese, etc.

A resolution offering a reward of 25 cents for each stray animal arrested and brought to the public pound, was passed.

A committee was also appointed to ascertain whether there are needed any more lamps upon the various streets of the town. Messrs. Brunner and Stief are the committee. The next regular meeting will take place on the first Saturday in May.
