Today we have a small fish story for you. In fact, it would be one of the fishiest stories you ever heard if those involved did not have pictures to prove it.
It appears that one night recently Charles Lyon, who owns the charter boat C. Lyon, took his wife, Donna, and Mr. and Mrs. David Autrey out for a little tarpon fishing. David of course is a fisherman from 'way back, but neither Donna nor Mrs. Autrey (Thelma) had ever been fishing from a boat before in their lives.
However, these two young matrons promptly went to work and landed two big tarpon, Donna a 90-lb one and Thelma a 60-pounder. David Autrey caught a 100-lb tarpon, but who paid any attention to his catch?
During the brief time the party fished, they had five strikes, landing three tarpon, which is considered somewhat unusual.
Thelma and Donna were last observed planning another fishing trip. With their luck, there's no telling WHAT they'll catch next time!
