WHAT SHOULD BE AND IS.
The Houston Chronicle very prettily says that what is even more gratifying than the remarkable material progress of this wonderful age is the fact that man's sympathies are quickening. Evolution is taking a broader scope, the sense of obligation of man to his fellow man is deepening, and the world draws nearer to the long-sought-for era—when the brotherhood of man will be a reality rather than a dream. There is upon the horizon the future ahe dawning of a hope the time is coming when he! be no more nar:
