Dreadful situation of England.

London papers of June and July exhibit a melancholy picture of the internal state of Great Britain, as respects the destruction of stocking frames, burning of mills, assassinations, and Luddite associations, which are said to increase, and to demand the special interference of government. The Prince Regent has made sealed communications to parliament, a secret committee was appointed, and it is suggested that the habeas corpus act would be suspended, and martial law declared.—Columbian.
