Tucker, June 19.

Readers:—A good rain at the present would prove beneficial to corn.

Cannot report any sickness at present.

Rev. U. W. Lunsford filled his regular appointment today.

Jerry Williamson of Jacksonville and J. B. Sivewright of Palestine were here today.

The Tucker and Post Oak ball teams crossed bats Saturday.

The Sunday school was reorganized by Rev. Lunsford today.

John Shields of Oakwoods was over last week, visiting his brother and friends.

Hub Woodard and Steve Crist went to Groesbeck last Thursday on business.

Mr. Frank Collier and Misses Winnie Collier and Blanche Berry of Needmore were pleasant callers at Mrs. H. A. Woodard's.

The city of Tucker will have a protracted meeting in July. Rev. U. W. Lunsford will hold the meeting.
