Circuit Court began today at Mayfield, Ky., Judge R. J. Bugg presiding. There are 37 appearance common law cases and 92 continued common law cases. Of the 223 equity cases, 174 were continued from the November term and 49 are appearances. Of the 49 equity appearances, 15 are for divorce. The equity appearance docket will be called for answer on the third day. There are 240 criminal cases. Of this number 65 are against the Standard Oil Co. for retailing coal oil without license and 81 are for selling liquor. The remaining 94 cases, 26 felonies and 68 misdemeanors.
