Full Text

To the People of the North Mountain.

Permit me to call your attention to the subject of the new road. You are all apprised that the road is too narrow, and that the distance has been increased two hundred yards, which will make a difference of several miles in the course of a year. Do you intend to let this matter rest here? I hope not. It is well known that the individual who has had the change made, never has made any sacrifice to the public good : but on the other hand, has made the public interest to succumb to him, by having this very road changed twice to suit his views. I now suggest to you to take such steps at the March Court as will ensure a change in the road.

A CITIZEN.
