U. D. C.'s Shower Gym Kitchen
The local chapter of the U. D. C. recently gave a shower to help furnish the gym kitchen. The several attractive and useful articles - dish clothes and towels, assorted sizes of mixing bowls, fruit juicer, salad serving sets, warming and serving tray, and pot lifters - are the first given to the kitchen. All the groups who will use the kitchen will profit from the kindness of the U. D. C.
Members of this patriotic organization include Miss Pearl Megee, Miss Ruth Howard, Mrs. A. L. Stevens, Miss Mamie Clark, Mrs. W. C. Castleberry, Mrs. Gertrude Beachman, Mrs. Myra Bley, Mrs. Hattie Brown, Mrs. Ruby Cooper, Mrs. Walter Durham, Mrs. Preston Durham, Mrs. W. T. Hand. Mrs. J. M. Howard, Mrs. Mildred Lanfair, Mrs. B. W. Moore, Mrs. Ruby Rhyne, Mrs. Edwin Steen, Mrs. Jesse Sweaney.
