There is still a little smallpox in Richwood. It behooves every person to make a special effort to stamp out the disease. There is much you can do. If you see a person with any kind of unusual appearance on the face quietly report same to board of health. A doctor will be sent to investigate. If it proves to be nothing contagious, no harm is done. If it should prove to be incipient smallpox, you may have been the means of preventing a score of cases. The physicians of town, as well as many others are convinced that had not several families concealed a few mild cases. There would not have been half the number of cases and the disease would have been stamped out two months ago. Remember that it is the cases that do not look like smallpox, spread the disease.--A PHYSICIAN.
