Full Text

AQUIA CREEK.—The rebels had not on Friday evacuated their positions at either Aquia or Potomac creeks. Their batteries there, however, do not interfere at all with the navigation of the river. Their retreat being by the railroad through Fredericksburg to Richmond, they were not obliged to decamp at the same time as the army at Manassas. The appearances are, however, that they are moving their stores, &c., with a view to an early evacuation.

On Friday, the Yankee and Anacostia exchanged compliments, in the shape of shot and shell, with their batteries.
