Lynn Treigle, a Louisiana youth who managed to talk his way to freedom here two weeks ago when held on suspicion of having stolen an automobile, is again in the sheriff's charge. This time, attaches at the sheriff's office state, Treigle has been caught red handed in auto stealing and is ready to enter a plea of guilty when arraigned on the charge.
Treigle when held recently told the police that he was a boxer fighting under the name of Pee Wee. He informed them that he had purchased the automobile, the theft of which he was held on suspicion. Treigle gave a straight forward story to the court declaring that he did not know it was necessary to have deeds and licenses in the transaction and claimed that he had paid $50 for the machine in Mexicali. He was dismissed.
When brought to El Centro following his arrest by Brawley police Saturday, however, Treigle made no effort to deny the theft of a machine in Holtville, it is said. It was expected he would be arraigned on the charge late this afternoon.
