PRINCE RUPERT, B. C., May 24.-(A)--Two fishermen were killed, a third is missing, and three others were injured severely yesterday in an explosion and fire that destroyed the halibut boat Lorna H and partially burned the Home Oil Company wharf along which the vessel was moored.
Cause of the blast has not been determined. Owners estimated the damage at more than $10,000.
The dead:
Stan Orvick, whose body was recovered from Prince Rupert Bay late today.
Robert Houston, crewman who died of injuries soon after the explosion.
Missing is Sig Grunser, crewman.
Capt. Hans Knutsen, master and owner of the craft, David Houston, brother of Robert, and John Wick were burned severely and are being treated in a hospital here.
Hometowns of the men were not available immediately
The blast ripped along a feed line at the oil company wharf, sending the flames temporarily out of control. Firemen quenched the blaze after it had badly damaged the pier and destroyed a small office.
