PCY Holds Election
Of Officers

The regular meeting of the PCY was held on Tuesday evening at the YWCA. An election of officers took place.
Those elected: Henry Griffin, re-elected president; Malcom Porteous, business manager; Maxine Day, secretary; and Jeri Jones, treasurer. The above named will take office Tuesday, July 18.
Satisfactory reports were heard from the various committees regarding the work of these groups.
It was decided that an effort be made to make cohesive the action of civic groups in the city who are fighting discrimination in order that our members away from town may be able to keep up with the club work.
Among those present were Marje Windus and Les Wheeler, doing their best to lobby for Mac P.; Roland B., trying to get a word in edgewise, so he could get his motion voted upon for the restaurant committee; Eddio Blackwell, all sad because he finally had to catch a ship -- too bad, but Eddie, when you have to go-! Better sign off now.
See you at the club next Tuesday, 8 p.m.
