A party of about 200 armed and mounted White Boys took Mr. James Fannin from his bed in Carrick on Suir suburbs, threw him naked across a horse, whipped him to the Fair-Green, threw him into the river multiple times, perambulated the town firing shots, and continued barbarity four miles away, leading to his death.
