Insurance Case.--J. Turner West, whose property on West Front St., was damaged by fire a few weeks ago, had suffered his policy in the New Castle County Co. to lapse, only a few days prior to the conflagration, and the Company refuses, of course, as has been the custom with it and all others to make good the amount of the policy. Mr. West, is disposed to accede to the long established custom in this matter, but it is announced that the German American Co., of which Mr. T. F. Plummer is the agent in this city, proposes to test the matter in the courts, and to this end has obtained Mr. West's lapsed policy in the New Castle Co., with which to begin proceedings.
