TEACHER TRANSFERRED TO HIGHER PLACE Miss Alice Downey has been transferred from the combination first and second grades of the city schools to the position of instructor in English and rhetoric in the high school, says the Cheyenne Tribune. She succeeds Miss Marjorie Sutherland, resigned. Miss Downey, who is a member of the prominent Laramie family of that name, and a graduate of the University of Wyoming, has had three years of experience in teaching, two years of the period having been spent in Cheyenne.
