Net Lessons Slated For Dependents

The second in a series of dependent tennis lessons for youngsters between the ages of eight and 16 years will be offered in August, Special Services has announced.

Classes, which will start on 13 Aug., will be conducted by Bill Heffernan, tennis coach of Rogers High School. Classes will be held during both morning and afternoon hours. Applicants may choose either of the two periods for their lessons.

Lessons will be given to groups according to age and previous experience. Each period will last approximately two hours, and will be held on the paved tennis courts behind Gym 109.

Cost of the three-week series of lessons will be $10. Reservations may be made by calling Bill Heffernan at VI 6-2277 or Special Services, extension 3855.

Sneakers should be worn for the lessons. Rackets and balls will be supplied as necessary. Parents will be contacted by Mr. Heffernan regarding assignments.
