Commander Charles D. Sigsbee, head of the department of seamanship, naval tactics and naval construction at the Naval Academy, will probably succeed Commander Harrington as commandant of cadets should the sentence of the court martial relieve the latter from that position. It is stated that Commander Sigsbee will be ordered to take charge of the practice ship Constellation during the balance of the cadets' summer cruise. Other changes in the academic board at the Naval Academy are expected before the reopening of the Academy in October.
