We learn from Gerona, under date of the 12th, that on the 10th, at 2 in the afternoon, 300 men of the garrison of Monjuich in Gerona, made a sally, took a battery of ten guns, and destroyed it with a parapet. The two companies of women formed in the place, whose usual occupation is to carry provisions and wine to the brave defenders of their country, and attend the wounded in the hospitals, demanded muskets, while others who were not regularly enlisted in these companies, supplied their place in the discharge of their usual duties.
