Cracow, July 15. The Austrians took possession of Tyniec on the 12th of this month: and the Russians who had long besieged that fortress, retired the next morning, after the arrival of an estafette at Warsaw. The confederates garrison will be conducted to Biala, where the men are to be dismissed. General Alton is marching at the head of 6000 Austrians toward Sandomir.

Częstochowa still holds out against the Russians. The Confederate garrison there have offered to submit to the King but not to the Russians.
