HARTFORD, February 19.

We are unable to give our readers a particular account of the heroic deeds of a body of the ministerial gentry, which took place at Dorchester. All we can say is, that a party of about five hundred landed on Dorchester Point, on Tuesday night, and drove off our whole garrison, which consisted of about forty men; set a number of houses on fire, took an old gentleman who had long been an inhabitant of the place, with two small children, prisoners; and then made off with the utmost precipitation.
