$40,000 Latlip Damage Action To Open Thursday

Trial of a damage action, in which the sum of $40,000 is asked as the result of the death of a young woman, will start in Lawrence county Common Pleas Court here Thursday morning, July 23rd.

David L. Latlip. father of Miss Rita Latlip. night club entertainer, who was fatally injured in an auto wreck on the Sedgwick pike last November 8. is the plaintiff in the suit, directed against Earl N. Reinhardt as an individual and doing business as the Reinhardt Trucking Co. of Portsmouth.

Miss Latlip was killed when her car crashed into a truck owned by the defendant Co.

Two damage actions have been filed by the Latlips one by the father of the dead girl for $40,000 for personal injuries and the other by the mother, Mrs. Marion Latlip, who seeks $505 for damages to the automobile.

Corn, Jenkins and Collier are attorneys for the Latlip family, while Attorney Earl C. Kline of Columbus is representing Mr. Reinhardt.
