The Republicans of Tombstone met in mass meeting at the city hall last night and nominated in a most friendly and brotherly-love sort of a way, the following gentlemen as the delegate ticket to be voted for at the primaries tomorrow: A. H. Gardner, Dr. H. F. Sloan, Chas. Bowman, Frank Myers, J. H. Macia, L. C. Wilbur and J. T. Kingsbury.
At this admiration party they also nominated delegates to the city convention and named as a ticket, Lou Woolery, Chas. Melgren, Gus Baron, George Macis and John Montgomery. Upon these gentlemen will fall the duty of nominating a mayor, chief of police and four councilmen, who will run on the Republican ticket.
It took our Republican friends just eleven minutes to get the machinery into running order and then it was all smooth sailing.
