Full Text
Recently a husband in the State of New York, killed the seducer of his wife. Human nature says, served him right, for the law does not punish the adulterer, nor society exclude him from its charmed circle. Nevertheless, the preachers and press, and the public, are down on the murderer, and full of sympathy for his victim, the adulterer, who has ruined him.
We shall shed no tears when the adulterer falls by the hand of an outraged husband, and we think if there was a more frequent resort to this desperate remedy, adultery would be less common.
