Full Text

Good Samaritan.—We noticed the twin
vehicle to that lately drawn by a recent
Dolly Varden, on the street yesterday.
Charley
was not driven
by
hands that
would aspire to be as fair as those that
so gracefully sport the ribbons during the
week. Our friend, whose name we need
not mention, on account of its inseparableness from all those deeds that are the
promptings
of a large heart, was taking
Mr. Cushing, an invalid, confined to his
room for months by severe illness, out to
ride. Such a ride, in such an easy vehicle,
under the balmy sunlight of yesterday
is better than any quantity of pills, even
if they be homeopathic and taken a bottle
at a dose—which experiment we saw tried
by an allopathic physician on Saturday
last without any sensible effect as yet.
