Two new locations were announced during the week of which the Jaeger was one. The other was:
Tarrant-Reichoff No. 5, approximately center NW¼NE¼ 36-32-6W. This is in the extreme south end of the field, and west of the Tarrant-Pardue-Miller No. 1 which is in the northeast corner of the same section. It is two and a half miles from the nearest producer.
Little less interesting than this south well is a new well spudded on May 4 by R. C. Tarrant on the Getty farm, No. 8 location, in CWL NW¼SE¼ 15-34-6W. This is a short distance east of the nearly dry hole drilled by Bill McKnight several years ago. It is on the west bank of Rocky coulee in an area which has had little development.
Glacier Production-Hawkins No. 2, NE NE¼SW¼ 17-35-5W is drilling at 2300 feet.
Glacier Production-Larson No. 1, CWL NW¼NE¼ 35-36-6W, is drilling at 2800 feet.
Dakota-Montana-Gillin No. 4, NE SE¼SE¼ 3-34-6W, completed last week, made 45 barrels during the first 24 hours.
Olive Oil-Winkler No. 5, CNL NE¼NE¼ 35-35-6W, is drilling at 1450, having found Colorado shale at 410 and set pipe at 440.
Pardue-Tribal 170 No. 2, NW SE¼SW¼ 7-32-5W, is drilling at 2075 feet.
Santa Rita-Jordan No. 2, C NW¼ SE¼ 7-32-5W, is drilling at 1900.
Tarrant-State No. 4 SE NE¼ SE¼ 36-34-6W, is drilling at 2615.
