Trouble at Shawnee.

Shawnee, Ohio, Sept. 1.—All the miners of this place are out to-day, demanding an increase of the price of mining from 40 cents to 50 cents. The operators are willing to give the price asked provided a similar advance is made at New Straitsville. A committee has just gone to that place to attend a mass meeting. It is understood that New Straitsville wants the price to be made 60 cents, and it is feared an amicable settlement cannot be arranged. The operators here are anxious for the trouble to be settled. Last night the two citizens who have been nursing Kenney, the victim of the recent bomb shell explosion, received letters telling them to leave town within two weeks or they will be given a worse reception than Kenney received.
