Tampico Fields; Other
Oil Barons to Follow

TAMPICO, Mexico, Dec. 18.-
As a result of the Mexican Supreme Court's decision enjoining the government from interfering with its operations, the Mexican Petroleum Company has resumed drilling in the El Ebano field. The field is believed to be owned by Edwin L. Doheny, who maintains a residence in the district.

Altho other oil companies, which suspended production some time ago have not yet resumed operations they are expected to do so in the near future.
