San Antonio, Texas, January 6.--Lieut. John Neal Hodges, United States Army, belonging to the Engineer Corps, and Miss Claudia Cecilia Coleman were married the evening of January 3 in this city, the wedding being celebrated in St. Mark's Episcopal Church and the ceremony performed by the Rev. Philip Cook, rector of the church.
The wedding was one of the society events of the week here. The bride was attended by her sister as maid of honor, and Lieut. Stanley W. Wood of Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, was the best man.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Atlee Coleman, her father being one of the prominent ranchmen of Southwest Texas. Lieutenant Hodges is a native of Maryland and won distinctive honors in his class at West Point. His present station is in Wheeling, West Virginia.
The romance which culminated in the wedding had its inception in the recent maneuver camp.
