Not the least of wonders!—The celebrated Barent Gardenier, long known as a most rampant Federalist, has lately sent in his adhesion to the Tammany faction, and, as is commonly the case with new converts, his zeal in their service is without measure.
This is "amalgamation" with a witness!
The Buck tails profess to despise the aid of federalists, yet we see them avail themselves of their services, whenever they can find those abandoned enough to enter their filthy den. Mr. G. is a fit subject for them to operate on.—Albany Register.
