Full Text

A Handsome Picture.

On table E, at the Water Witch Fair, now in progress at Institute Hall, is a handsome crayon picture of Samuel E. Tazewell, late Chief Engineer of the Wilmington Fire Department, which is designed to be purchased for the Water Witch Company by voluntary contributions from their many friends. The picture is from the photograph galleries of Sutterley & Co., and is certainly a fine picture. As the late Chief was a member of the Water Witch, that company is desirous of obtaining this picture and it is to be hoped that their many friends will not forget to drop something in the box towards the purchase of the same. The box is placed immediately under the picture and no one should pass it by without dropping something in.
