We hear from Hanover County, That on the 30th of November last, being St. Andrew's Day, the Patron of Scotland, several Gentlemen of that Nation, met and went to Church, where the Rev. Mr. Henry preach'd a Sermon suitable to the Occasion. They afterwards went to the House of Mr. Waters, where a handsome Dinner was provided for them. Then they proceeded to the Choice of new Officers of their Society; and having collected a considerable Sum of Money, to be applied to charitable Purposes, they chose Mr. William Johnston Treasurer. The whole Affair was conducted with great Decency and Order.
