Clear Skies Came To-day After Week of Fog and Rain

Boston, Oct. 13.—Clear skies after a week of fog and rain brought joy to the thousands who thronged the streets of the city to-day to watch the parade which was the principal feature of the celebration of Columbus day, a legal holiday in Massachusetts. The new city of Boston flag was raised over the city hall as the first event of the day. Sixteen thousand men and women marched in the parade.
