BOSTON MAY, 9.

A distressing accident. A Young man on Saturday evening was drowned in the Mill Creek. He is supposed to have stumbled over the edge of the creek, and to have been so injured by the fall, as not to have risen, and to have been swept away by the rapidity of the current, without being observed by those, who, with himself, were engaged in the humane act of rescuing a man that, owing to the darkness of the night, had fallen into the creek, and who, but for the timely aid afforded him, must have perished. This being the third instance of persons being drowned in this creek, since last January.
