Haskell Boy Scouts have 18 new recruits--12 Tenderfoot Scouts and 6 who have transferred from other troops. Those transferring are Billy Jo Harjo from Holdenville, Oklahoma; Eugene Trimble, Pine Ridge, South Dakota; Joe Whitebird, Odanah, Wisconsin; Warren Schuyler, Sparta, Wisconsin; Cecil Rouillard, Creighton, Nebraska; and Mervil Soulier, Beloit, Wisconsin.
Tenderfoot Scouts are Irving Shopteese, James Norris, Darrel Johnson, Franklin Simmer, Curtis Simmer, J.B. Dreadfulwater, Norman Cadue, Thomas Stevens, Wallace Peters, Monroe Weso, Artusse Fields and William Sampson.
The troop meets each Tuesday evening. Tonight they will have a Tenderfoot test for all new boys, and tomorrow they will have their first overnight hike. All boys are working for merit badges in their vocational shops. Mr. Jack Culberson, Scoutmaster, says that the boys are planning a big year.
