THIRD TERM TRIP

Some indication whether the nation wants Pres. Roosevelt for a third term will soon be available.

The White House has disclosed plans for a cross-country trek this summer. He will visit the California world's fair and run up to Alaska. Many important cities will be visited where the special will make brief stops.

If the President gets cordial receptions on these stops it will be noted by the politicos as proof of his popularity. This will be even more true if he is met by demands that he run again.

What happens on this trip will certainly be as helpful in judging public opinion as the Gallup polls.
