Full Text

The "Subscriber," who has twice written us from Philadelphia, soliciting the publication of a particular Debate in Congress, cannot but have observed, that our columns have been, and are, occupied by the laws of Congress, and by a debate of vastly more importance than that on the Bank of the United States, to which he refers; which, however, is intended for publication, and shall have a place as soon as we can find room for it, and our Reporter can transcribe it. It is believed, however, that it is not of that interesting character, which, from his urgency for its publication, our Philadelphia correspondent seems to think it; nor is it of much length, as it did not occupy more than two hours of the time of the House of Representatives.
