Top Military Men To Give Talks On National Defense
The Columbia Broadcasting System this week will present a series of broadcasts, on the most vitally important issue of our time "The Nation's Defenses." This series of broadcasts arranged in cooperation with the National Military Establishment, will present certain information hitherto available only to selected groups of industrial leaders invited to the government's joint orientation conferences.
The Secretaries of Defense, Army, Navy and Air, representatives of the Atomic Energy Commission, the President's Economic Advisors, the Research and Development Board, the Department of State, and the Chief of Staff of the Army will participate in the series.
These five broadcasts will be presented the week of August 22, Monday through Friday, 10:30 to 11:00 p. m., Eastern Daylight Time.
