Full Text
About 9 o'clock this morning a horse attached to a wagon, belonging to Mr. Wm. Feldmyer, standing in front of Market Space, took free reins and skipped up Main street at the rate of "two-forty," coming in contact with the lamp post at the corner of Conduit and Main streets, dashed it to the ground. The rope extending across that portion of the street caused the runaway team to halt where it was secured by its owner. The City Gas Company is thus damaged to the tune of a lamp post.
