"To this end it is necessary that an efficient Agent should be immediately and constantly employed; and I recommend to the Legislature to make provision for such an Agent, with authority to employ a clerk, if necessary."
We are glad to perceive that the subject is duly attended to, yet we believe not a few will be disappointed when they find, that notwithstanding the election and re-election of Gov. Eustis, which was to work such wonders, no calculation can yet be made on the time when it will be finally adjusted, and that there is no certainty that it will not continue a standing reason for his re-election as long as he lives.
