Gets Warm Welcome

World welterweight champ. Emile Griffith was given a rousing welcome by the people of St. Croix today. He was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Griffith and co-manager Gil Clancy and his wife together with a few St. Thomians.

The program at the Frederiksted bandstand was delightful and warm. Emile made a very good impression on the people.
